Fun at the Botanical Gardens!!

On one of our Family Fridays together, we took a trip to the Ft. Worth Botanical Gardens. It had been a while since we went so we thought it was time. Unfortunately, Lacey had not napped much that day and was a bit moody by the time we got there, so we didn't get to enjoy much. It was completely worth the trip, though, as she had a great time while it lasted!

We stayed mostly in the little atrium that you can go into. It was quite beautiful and a perfect place for Lacey and Daddy to run along the paths, chasing each other and discovering the fun to be had.

These two had so much fun together!! I was so grateful for him to be with us because when my patience was running slightly thin, he swooped in and made sure we all had a great time. He kept Lacey quite entertained and made the trip much easier on me. We'll definitely have to go back and see much more of the gardens, but it was a perfect way to spend the afternoon. On our way home, we stopped at Papacitos for some of those famed fajitas and enjoyed them quite a lot. Highly recommend it! Plus, it's actually a great place for kids because there's so much going on that even a tired 20-month-old was constantly entertained. My kind of place!
