On Monday night, Lacey and I journeyed up to Highland Village to be a part of a holiday service project, masterfully orchestrated by my sister, Heather. In an effort to do something meaningful to kick of the Christmas season, she put together a service project that had a large group of helper elves decorating a nearby nursing home for the holidays.
Most of the local Whelan clan, including one spouse, one fiance and her family, and lots of the kiddos, came to be a part of the magic. Here are Amber's festive children with their creations. 4 kids... can you believe she's about to have another?! Brave woman! Good thing they're all so cute! Part of the project was that each family was assigned to the door of a resident's room to decorate. We were given creative liberty and this is what the Nish family contributed.
The project went very well, and continues throughout the week. It was definitely a little chaotic in there with so many people, but it was so much fun to be a part of. Having the opportunity to see that many people who were so eager to serve definitely helped to instill a sweet spirit of Christmas in all of us. Good job, Heath!

Holy cow, Amber is pregnant again?? That's awesome! How many kids will that be now? So fun! Gosh I wish my family could get together and do that...That would be so awesome!
I would like you to send more Christmas cheer with an update, please.
