Family Photo Fiasco

Last Saturday, the Hughlett family headed to a photography studio. What were we thinking?! It was a bit of chaos...ok, a lot of chaos. We made it in time for our 5:00 pm appointment but had to wait amidst lots of eager picture-takers until closer to 5:45. Lacey, of course, was everywhere! She rather enjoyed running. And running. Oh, and running some more. It was nice that she was entertained while we waited, but she was all too wound-up for the pictures.
Oh, allow me to rewind for a moment before proceeding-- just a couple of days before the pictures, Lacey managed to incur a nice bump and bruise on her forehead when she launched into the corner of our nightstand. I'm telling you, it's like they know pictures are coming! Fortunately, it had gone down but it's obviously still noticeable. Awesome.
Anyway, moving on. It was finally our turn and, well, the results speak for themselves...

After MANY attempts at some family shots, we thought we'd give Lacey a chair to see if we could get something cute of her...

Ok, these are cute. Her hair is messy and bowless after all of her running, but what can I say? That's my child!
