On Christmas Eve, we were unfortunately stranded in Arlington due to the snow storm that hit earlier that day. We were unable to participate in the typical Whelan-family tradition of going to Braum's on Christmas Eve... but we did remain true to the tradition...
It was sad to miss out on the Whelan-family fun, but we actually quite enjoyed our quiet Christmas Eve. The snow was absolutely beautiful and magical. It brought with it the spirit of Christmas that we had been waiting for. We spent the entire day as a family, relaxing, playing, watching Christmas movies, and getting ready for Santa's visit!
