Princess Birthday Party

Wow, sort of hard to believe I'm blogging! Given that Mom doesn't have a facebook account, I'm going back to this seemingly ancient form of sharing pictures. ha! Ok, actually I've been meaning to blog again for some time now, so this is as good a time as any to resume.

Today, we celebrated our baby girl's FOURTH birthday!!! I'm sort of in denial about that. 4!! It's just so big!

In true Hughlett fashion, we're stretching this celebration out all weekend long. Today's party was a princess tea party with some of her friends. It was held at Chelsea's Tea Room and Boutique and it was so very cute! The girls got their nails painted and a touch of make up put on, they picked out frilly dresses, they were dubbed princesses by Queen Lacey, they had their tea party and etiquette lesson (which pretty much went way over the 4-year-olds heads and we had everything from elbows on the table to burping!), they walked in their "Princess Parade", and Lacey sat in her royal carriage to open presents. It was all very cute and sweet and majorly girly-- what more could a girl want?
