Just a couple of weeks ago, we welcomed our new baby girl, Junie, into our family! There were various reasons for apprehension, of course, but we were very excited and can happily say that she has been a wonderful addition to our family!
Here's Lacey, waiting for the big delivery! My mom picked Junie and her sister Annie from the airport and kindly delivered Junie to us. Lacey was so excited!! She had been asking for weeks when she would be coming, so we were all happy that she was finally here!
Here we are on the day of her arrival. Lacey sat beside me (pardon my workout clothes... we had just been to the gym) and Junie crawled up between us and dozed off. It was so sweet!!
Trying to get some cute pictures of the two of them together... not easy! Junie kept trying to kiss Lacey, who is clearly quite ticklish!
We really do love this new baby of ours! We were nervous about how Lacey would do with her, but she LOVES her! As Junie has grown more comfortable here, she loves romping around in the backyard, chasing after Lacey and playing with all sorts of toys. She is a very well-behaved puppy! She took to the kennel right away and rarely cries in it at all. I'm slowly giving her more freedom around the house and she's doing very well with it. She really has been perfect for us and has brought lots of joy to our home. We love our puppy!!
